Reverse engineering of a hand made fender for a Suzuki V-Strom. For this project we have used a laser scanner to capture the complex geometry. It produced 6 million points. Manipulation of the captured data was required in order to redesign the model for best fit. Finally we produced parametric modeling and surfaces, ready for manufacturing.
